The Rotary Club of Morisset is located in the Lake Macquarie District. We meet at The Bowlers Room, Dora Creek Workers Club, 1 Minnie Street, Dora Creek NSW 2264, 6.00 for 6.30pm. Like many organizations Rotary recognizes the need to change to suit the times. Rotary in the 21st century is very different to the organization that Lyal Lee joined in 1967. The Rotary Club of Morisset actively embraces change to ensure it’s relevance in our fast paced and busy world. OBJECT OF ROTARY The object of Rotary is to exchange and foster the ideal of service on a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular to encourage and foster:- First - The development of acquaintances as an opportunity for service. Second - High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of useful occupations, and the recognition of each Rotarian of his occupation as an opportunity to serve society. Third - The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his personal, business and community life. Fourth - The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
